A couple months ago i went to the V. A. Hospital and changed my blood pressure and heartburn meds. About a week ago food started tasting bad like there was baking soda in it. It has gotten worse to where i don't have any taste for sweet, sour, or salt just the baking soda taste even in water. Is this permanent?

must be medications you are taking coz you just mentioned you got new ones. i know some people who got the same complains like if they change their cholesterol meds, etc.
its best to tell your doctor about it though. im sure he can relieve your worst fears.

I guess so , it's the meds. dog gone blood pressure , ott to be a law against it , he says chuckling, once you blood pressure stablizes for a while ,monthes or a year , see if they'll switch you to something different
