i can't really say, i've never personally experianced this before. but here's a true story that recently happend that might give a good view of it:
A man was looking in his attic for a faulty wire. He noticed a box in the corner. When he opened it, he found four ziploc bags. Altogether, the bags contained $100,000. When he reported it to authorities, a widow who previously owned the house claims it's hers. But the man who found it, says he found it, so he should get it.

No. actually, that kindergarten asserting is diametrically opposite to the quite operation of regulation. looking somebody else's property grants NO possession rights over it in any respect. Richard
