Not a bad idea. Buy the boat or rent it and take your class with you. You could bill it as a field trip. Don't bother getting your headmaster's approval first. It is easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission, sometimes.

June was pretty Hot! sailing around the world is actually a pain in the ***. Port fees, weather, pirates (yes there are people on the high seas that will kill you and take your boat) Boat upkeep, communications, shipping lanes (at night you could easily get run over by a large ship), navigation.

Easier and safer to just get an RV and tour the entire coastline. from the land.

wouldn't we all love to do this, but what happens after you return and someone else is in your house and your running out of cash. if you need a vacation or even an extended vacation then go for it. if your not happy then get a divorce and leave but if you have kids and responsibilities then you need to sit down and reflect on whats more important. im sure you have met or heard of someone that abandoned their
family and you can see how much damage that person caused. if there are no kids then tell your partner that your going away for a while. here's a real thought and believe me i know what im talking about. the world is a beautiful place but the closer you look the scarier it is. i've seen some wonderful things destroyed for no more reason of someone not liking it,
people act like your friend only to screw you out of everything
there are some really bad people out there
if you need to spread your wings and fly away then go and be very careful, safe, and weary of others, see and be everywhere

Well, if you're June Cleaver now that would imply you've got kids so I hope you don't sell the house before they leave it!

If you do go exploring, let me know if you're going to be driving though Iowa!

Oh, the decisions of a lifetime!!! LOL

I could not do this...I'm a land mammal myself--dirt & gravity all the way...but hey! Going from Cleaver to Robinson sounds like an adventure of memory making possibilities!!! Good Journey--either way you choose!!!
