I'm looking for a movie or tv series with topics similar to these:
-> tragic heroes, happy ending
-> strange/best friendships -> love?
-> adventure, fantasy or historical

can anyone name a few movies or series?
i'm okay with any language, since i speak a lot of languages and since you can find subtitles everywhere on the internet.
animated movies or anime are fine, too.

Do you mean a movie with a tragic hero that has a happy ending? Because part of what makes it tragic is that there isn't a happy ending.

I know I'll get laughs for my answer to your question, but the TV series Xena: Warrior Princess, a fantasy/adventure series from the mid 90's satisfies most of your criteria. Xena was a tragic hero in that she was evil in the beginning, but changed her ways and began living her life to help the cause of the "greater good."

Gabrielle was her best friend, and helped her in her journey to change spiritually and mentally. There was some debate as to whether they were lesbians or not, but I think that it was just publicity hype, though they did love each other completely, and would die for each other (and did so several times throughout the series.)

In the end, Xena sacrificed herself permanently to help save the souls of over 40,000 others. She was a hero, but it was tragic in the way she became that hero.

Other suggestions:

Glory
Braveheart
Passion Of The Christ
Ghandi
Batman
Hamlet

Get the 2004 movie of Phantom of the Opera starring Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum. It's fantastic.
Somewhere in Time - with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.
Truly, Madly, Deeply with Alan Rickman and Juliet Stephenson
Sense & Sensibility with Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet
Bitter Moon with Hugh Grant, Robert Coyote, Kristen Scott Thomas
The English Patient with Ralph Fiennes, Kristen Scott Thomas, Juliette Binoche

Those should keep you going for a while!

Lord of the Rings? XD Windstruck has a pretty tragic ending, My Sassy Girl will make you cry but it has a happy ending, The Classic might make you cry too. Those 3 are in Korean. Heavenly Creatures is about a strange friendship and it's kinda tragic. :|
