You see ... there was this ...
I mean ... There were circumstances. Yes, circumstances.
The kind that were beyond my control ...

I'm a procrastinator. As for schoolwork, I get too distracted to do it before I really need to get it done (the day before it's due, and sometimes the same day it's due). Once I know that I have to do it, then I know that I have to focus on it. But, if an assignment isn't due for a few days, then I know that I can do other fun things and that I'll still have time to work on it in a few days, when I have no other choice.

As for non-school things, again, I think I just get distracted. If there's something I'm really interested in, then I will work on it for hours, but if there's something I'm not so thrilled about doing, then I know that, eventually, I'll have to do it, but, until that deadline comes, I can do other fun things.

I always procrastinate when I have something that needs to be done, but I really don't want to do it. I've been told that I'm one of the world's worst procrastinators ... :(

I procrastinate because I feel that I could do a better job of what I have to do later, when I actually feel like doing it.
