There are oceans to feed world with water and mountains to remind us of strength, the sun to warm us and give life. Marriage is the same strength of all this and God given. When a man and woman fall in deep love and come together for all time, it is the most beautiful powerful thing.......HOWEVER....the small things come into play. Changing the trash, paying the bills, getting along with family, kid drama, health matters, power struggles, and keeping sex life romantic and alive. Marriage has opposition from all sides and needs time, patience, and sometimes the advice or intervention of older wiser married couples or counselors. I hope marriage isn't doomed. This is my answer to you limpnoodle! I love your questions and answers!

"it's not finding someone you can live with, it's finding someone you can't live without." It's falling in love over and over again with the same person. It's compromise. It's getting home at 3 and watching the clock until 6 because that when you know your spouse comes home from work. Snuggling in bed every night before falling asleep in eachother's arms. Never being too old to hold hands, or kiss in public. Marriage is awesome!!! I have never been more happy than to be married and have our two boys. (good question btw.)

Marriage, in its truest sense, is a partnership of equals, with neither person exercising dominion over the other, but with each encouraging, comforting, and helping the other.
In "The Family: A Proclamation to the World," it is proclaimed that "marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children."
Because marriage is such an important relationship in life, it needs and deserves time over less-important commitments. Couples can strengthen their marriage as they take time to talk together and to listen to one another, to be thoughtful and respectful, and to express tender feelings and affection often.
Marriage partners must be loyal to one another and faithful in their marriage covenants in thought, word, and deed.

marriage hmm.. think of it as a race where only two people are in it.. they both decide to start and they both decide to finish.. but their bond has to be so close that they need to take every step together and when they finish they need to go across the end at the exact same time.. now adays its almost impossible for two people to commit that deeply until they just let go of pain and forget possible complications and both go together into a promise that wont end

From my point of view, marriage is the only way how to stop bastards entering this world.
Another good point is to create families. What is better, a single mother family or the one with father, grandma and grandpa?
And lastly, family members do create wealth all their lives. Since you can´t take it into the grave, it is normal for younger family member to continue tradition and wealth building their ancestors started.
You don´t have to get married just because you are in harmony or love someone.
Marriage is more practical than that.

This is my take on marriage!
Two people that love and adore one another, there whole life meaning involves each other. They are able to compromise to each others needs and survive off the love from another! There happiness comes from each other and are willing to live with their flaws and perfections!

Marriage is the blending of two souls.. the love that is deep enough to overlook imperfections.. to love no matter what is or will change between the two of you.. for better or worse... the vows pretty much give the rules... Legally it's a piece of paper that can cause you to lose half of you assets... But the romantic in me much prefers to say.. Marriage is the union of two souls perfect for each other..

marriage comes only to those who are not afraid to tie a knot with someone and try living in with someone he/she may not even like to live with for the rest of his/her life. marriage is for people who want to have someone to be with as they grow older.
