Why don't you try and English teacher? When I was in 7th grade, that's who read all of my stories. And she gave me extra credit for them too.

You should just start writing no matter what any one says. I am the same age and am shy too but I write fantasy/adventure books too. Just keep trying and ask teacher or your parents too read them. It works for me. Don't put your work on the internet unless you know that no on will be able to steal it.

Don't pay to have any company read or review your book. I'd go to my local book store and look in the "local interest" section. Jot down names and publishing companies of local authors, many of whom have self-publshed. Write to them and ask advice.
Also, you might want to look into books like "The Writers Market" and "Short Story Writers Market," which you'll find in the reference section. These are published annually and updated with hundreds of book publishers, literary agents and helpful websites for writers.
There's also an option called "print-on-demand," which is kinda like self-publishing, but easier and better quality product. This is how I did my book. I used Outskirts Press.
Above all, never out-and-out "sell" your story outright. Make sure you retain the rights to it after it has been published.
Feel free to contact me with further questions!

Well, 35 years ago you would have had a problem but nowadays with the internet and all you just need to get into google with the right questions and you could be publishing your own ebooks in a matter of minutes.

You could go straight to a publishing company, many will look at your manuscript. They may ask you to make changes, so it depends how willing you are to do that...
just google publishing companies (some are only interested in certain genres and some won't accept manuscripts but quite a few will, it is worth looking into if you are serious about getting your stuff published....)

Keep your great ideas for some more years and when you are of legal age you can approach some publishers or writers.

Why don't you try showing your work to your teacher? Tell your teacher what you want and where you want to go. Your teacher could be the best person to give you advice.
