I wanted raisins at the time. Basically I poured out the cereal in a very large bowl and picked though it and grabbed most of the raisins and ate them and then put the bran flakes back in the box. I was sooo hungry but had a huge craving for raisins at the time and I had used the raisins I did have before to make cookies with. When my husband poured a bowl of cereal the next morning he poured him a bowl and was upset that there weren't many raisins at all in his bowl and I told him what I did and he got sooo mad! I told him I just had a craving for raisins and he got so mad he put my purse and my baby smurf stuffed animal (i've had him since I was a baby) in his safe. Do you think I was wrong to do that and how do you think I should go about asking for my smurf and purse back? I like to sleep with my smurf when he isn't in bed with me because it makes me feel safer and I need my purse!!!!

He totally overreacted. Just tell him you need your purse back so that you can go to the store and buy him a new box of raisin bran. Then go and buy it and be done with this silliness.

Lol!!! There are some weird people on here today!!!LOL!
So, your husband gets mad because you ate all the raisins and not the flakes.
Then to punish you he locks your smurf and purse away.
And last but not least, you're a married woman who needs a smurf to feel safe.
Well, lady, both you AND your husband need to sit down and
write down how old you are each.
That you are married to each other.
That you are Adults, I assume.
That marriage is not parenting each other; But coming together with qualities and flaws and have lots of fun before becoming parents.
Good luck.x

He buys a special food for himself, and you immediately ruin it by removing the raisins? LOL. How funny. Raisin Bran without the raisins is called Bran Flakes. Not what he wanted.

This suggests there is problem in your marriage, or with you, that needs addressing. You two need to run to a marriage counselor.

His reaction was a tad immature. He had a right to be mad, but to hide your Smurf!!! Shame on him.

You both have control issues, and communication issues that need to be addressed for you two to have a happy marriage.

And think, in the future, you two have kids!! What kind of example would this be for your kids to see??

First, keep you a huge stash of raisins!!!!! I'm sure he was aggravated to only have "bran cereal - minus the raisins". GET YOUR PURSE and SMURF !!!! Why would he take those from you??? He is your husband NOT your parent!!!!! Sounds like he's being immature and rather controlling. He has no business IN your purse at all . That is Your private space. (doesn't mean you are hiding anything from him either!!) Good Luck !!!!

If you have the time to pick raisins out of a box of raisin bran, I think you need to get a job. Stuffed little Smurf...I think you need to grow up.

LOL ~ Are you pregnant? Cravings for raisins too funny. Make sure in the future that you have a stash of raisins.

As far as your husband what an over reactionary bum. He will survive but you may not. Sounds like he is a control freak not too mention emotionally abusive. Get your purse and get the hell out!

You've got to be kidding. How did two of the most ridiculously immature people ever get married? Ask for your belongings back. Sleeping with a smurf? How old are you anyway? Grow up both of you!!

And you're married? Going through the cereal and picking out raising was kinda childish.... just remember to get raisins next time you go grocery shopping ok? I think his reaction was kinda pissy though..... treating you like a child. Yes, ask for our bag and smurf back. Tell HIM to grow up.

How old are you?!?
If you had a craving you should just went to the store and bought some. Yes you were wrong to have done that (and it was his cereal) and you will have to tell him that you were wrong and that you are sorry and you promise it won't happen again.

And grow up and get rid of the smurf.
