as I get older myself I realize they are LUCKY because they lived a long life and they went through more years than I did and know they stretched out the ride a long time--whereas the young have uncertainty

I also envy older married couples, like the ones who've been together 50+ years, they are amazing

so I went from sort of mocking oldsters to realizing they have the last laugh since they may outlive all those young'uns

has this occurred to you?

I myself am 31, and no I've always admired the elderly, right now I have my grandmother living with me it's difficult to watch her sometimes cause she has Parkinson's disease and can't move around all that well anymore but I still admire her bravery...I've always kinda been like that. Yes it's good you're coming to realize all this now before you're at that age.

Sure did. I love talking to older people, because they have so much knowledge that is from day to day living.
