Because there is no cause for an impeachment, but they enjoy whining on YA! Do you understand the law?

If the Democrats don't have a large enough majority to pass a relatively simple bill to cover the medical care of uninsured children or to tell the Iraqi government they must do their job and rule their own country, how could they possibly get sufficent votes to impeach and convict Bush? And what would the point be? We'd be worse off if Cheney had absolute power over the executive branch.

And, how long do you think an impeachment and conviction would take, anyway? It took more than 6 years of hounding Clinton, not to mention 48 million in taxpayer dollars. There just isn't time. Bush would done with his term before the proceeding to remove him could actually begin

First of all he has not committed any impeachable acts and if we could Demand that Congress do anything and they would do what we asked then I can think of a lot of things that need to be taken care of before we worry about getting even with Bush for winning an election.

because most dont believe its worth the investment of time.

Which issad, because you will all see that Bush's greatest and most disturbing work will come at the end of his term.
There is still so much damage he can do -- and he will do.

Congress is hoping they will profit from this travesty that is the bush adminstration.
Thy have their eyes set on the 08 election where they are so hoping to claim the presidentcy and both house and senate.
Then I guess their work will begin.

Which is so sad that they dont do the right thing -- aND AT LEAST CENSURE Bush and Chenney.

If there was ever a politicians with integrity -- he would move to impeach bush NOW.
but the reality is that this is politics..and the political chess game is being played on a baord that the common person isnt allowed or probably doesnt understand.

This game isnt about whats best for america to the majority of politicians.
Its about how to extend your political future.
We are all just pawns.

UNTIL WE UNITE TOGETHER in large enough masses.
So start the PETITION....START THE MOVEMENT....if you dont like what others arent doing.
Start it yourself!!!

Because it is easier to hide behind a stupid avitar and say a bunch of negative stuff about their country than stand up, be recognized and voice their opinion in the real world.

Someone might actually tell them to their face that their ideas are a bunch of hooey and they might start crying and run home to their mommies. So they hide here and spout political babble that does no good, does not change the nature of our politics, does not inspire others to act to correct preceived wrongs... it only makes them feel like big shots.

g-day!

Because they want to say in Congress?

because although they may disagree with his policies, as I disagree with some of them, they also know that he has done nothing illegal, no impeachable acts. The democratic party knew this as well when they ran in 06 promising they would impeach him and get out of Iraq. They knew they couldn't do either but played into the emotions -- unfounded emotions -- of a run-amok base, which worked well for them, they regained the majority, but the bottom line is Bush has not committed any impeachable acts, but you are right, these people keep banging their heads against a wall for some unexplained reason

How about impeaching the total government and getting our republic back

There is no way the spineless Democrats would allow or entertain it, Also there is a liklihood a number would be sent anthrax in the mail. or die in small plaine accidents. We are under Cheney's shadow.
