No. The knighthood is its own reward.
As an aside, in medieval times, honours were only given to people who were rich enough to people who could afford to live in the style that was deemed appropriate for that title- Elizabeth I considered raising a Welsh cousin from a baron to an earl but decided against it as he was not rich enough to afford the lifestyle which was expected of one of that rank.
PS Recent political intrigues suggest that when a person is knighted, this is given as a reward for money (donated [or loaned] to a political party)

Nope. Not any more. In the Middle Ages,a Knight would receive an annual "Duty" or salary along with land and his title. But the monarchy would get some of it back in the form of taxes.

look up investitures and read all about the process.Many titles do not come with lands and money. The aristocracy that do have an estate-driven income have, generally, held their titles for centuries.

They are knocking out titles to any money grabbing egotist these days, personally I think they should give them to the humble men and women of society, like the road sweepers and nurses check out girls etc and give them a small annual bonus every year, that may insentivize people to take value and inspiration and do an excellent job at their humble little job.

No, money is not awarded. It is considred a very high honor for an award "investuire" to be given to you personally by the Queen. She is the ultimate symbol of recgnition of your achivements and the job you have done.
