I'm intending to buy a handheld game. However, i'm stuck between the choice of Nintendo DS Lite or PSP 2000. which one is better? and may i know the price and where it's avaliable?

the only reason i would consider getting a DS is for pokemon but PSP has lots of good games like GTA and God Of WAr and Star Waars Battlefront

I would go with PSP slim. There's alot more you get to do with it. Customization, home brew, and PS1 and other console emulation.
The DS Lite would be good if you like Brain Age, Zelda, and other stuff associated with Nintendo. Plus the R4 DS cartridge came out, which is basically a memory card to add more games and detect saves.
PSP Slims are generally cost about $170 by themselves and a bit more with bundles. While DS Lites are $130 by themselves. You can probably get them cheaper on Ebay or some other sites. I got the original PSP for $179 on Amazon.

i'd say nintendo ds lite. psp came out quite late and isnt as popular as nintendo ds lite. nintendo ds lite often comes with offers with a free game so i dont know the exact price but its around 100-150 pounds. available online or at GAME stores

I think that the psp 2000 slim is better.It is avaliable at walmart gamestop target and its about $170

DS is better, easy to carry, and beautiful design and a TOUCH screen!
