Generally you can simply type in 192.168.1.1 into your browser and this will bring up your routers utility.
However each one can vary a little, it is best to have the Paperwork that cme with the router to be sure they haven't changed something on there brand.
After entering the number provided will the access the Routers utility and will then allow you to set up one of 3 options
WEP
WPA
WPA-2
These are the standard wireless security set-ups. Again the paperwork will give you a step by step as to the Username and Password Changes.

Log into the router's admin section by navigating to the IP of the router probably 192.168.0.1, log in and then navigate to the wireless settings and set up mac addressing as a minimum which means that you have to put the mac address of that system into the router's settings for it to get access.

Other available wireless technology security that works a treat are WEP and WAP.
