No, I haven't.
My Grandfather was hit by a car before I was born and passed away so I never knew him.
One of my uncles was hit by a pickup in Billings Montana and he just isn't the same.
Kind of a sore spot, but I truly believe you were trying to be funny.

not with my eyes closed but heavily intoxicated i wasnt knocked down but someone noticed and called an ambulance. i was depressed at the time. i do not suggest crossing the road with your eyes closed. think of the poor driver if not the family and friends that will worry about you if something bad happened.

Stupid but it saved his life and din't blow me up either.
