I've never ridden a camel
And contrary to popular opinion, Lawrence of Arabia wasn't too good at riding a camel , either .
During the charge on AKABA (which is one of the highpoints of the 1962 movie) the real life TE Lawrence accidently put a bullet into the brain of his camel killing the unfortunate animal outright & throwing Lawrence several fet into the air , Lawrence staggered into Akaba a good 20 minutes after the arabs & others in the charge had got there
