I absolutely support President Bush....I might not agree with everything he does ..but if you find yourself agreeing with ANYBODY 100% you might want to step back and take a look at yourself..President Bush brought dignaty back to the oval office...he had the guts to do what needed to be done after 9/11...its easy to critisize someone when you don't have the responsability of protecting an entire nation after the worse attack on US soil in US history, but he didn't pass the problem on to the next guy like the last guy probably would have....

Bush had the support of not only America but the world when he said he was taking on terrorists. After Afghanistan the world was his to mold, unfortunately he went into Iraq with a lack of cultural awareness or a competent post-war plan, surrounded himself with yes men, and squandered the good faith of the entire world. The one chance in my lifetime that I've seen to unite the world against a common enemy was wasted. So yes, my opinion of Bush has been drastically lowered, at best he's inefficient as a leader, at worst he's maniacal
But my opinion of Saddam has stayed the same; he's an evil dictator who was uncooperative with the UN and got what was coming to him. My opinion of the Kurds is the same, they are better off without Saddam. And my opinion of Bill Clinton has not changed, his non-committal to stop or control Saddam let Saddams influence and WMD potential grow out of control.

The in-effective preemptive strike into Iraq while within a time period that he stated he would not initiate hostilities. This was precisely as treacherous as the attack on Pearl Harbor. Followed by the revelation that he misled the American people to authorize a war against a nation that lacked the ability to harm us or defend itself. While much of what is attributed to Bush is hearsay and unsupportable, these actions were self evident and showed his true colors to the world.
Before this I did support him and I honestly believed he was an ethical and moral man.

I voted for GWB (43) in 2000, because I thought he would be another GHWB (41). I found out quickly he fell far from the tree. Throughout his first term--up until 911--he found nothing on which to base his presidency. After 911, he focused almost solely on terrorism as a justification for doing everything.
What turned me irretrievably against him was his reference to the Constitution of the United States as "... just a goddamned piece of paper ..." In my humble Republican conservative opinion, that is justification in itself for impeachment. He needs to be tried.

can I come out of the closet, and say yes....I saw a video that pretty much convinced me that 911 was perpetrated by our own government, to start the war in Iraq, and to get the Patriot act passed.
