Yeah...I should have died years ago...so I am extremely lucky...did a 360 spin in rush morning traffic and landed facing oncoming traffic on a mound of snow and only got one dime sized ding on the car for it...tell me I am not supposed to be here for something...hehe.

Yes, but it's mostly luck brought about by hard work.
My late Mother on the other hand had amazing luck. She won first prize in the soccer casket thingy once and first prize in the lottery once as well.
I'm her only child, and of course now she's passed on everything's come to me. But I'd give anything and everything to have my Mum back.
So perhaps luck means having someone to love.

I have to remind myself to count my blessings, instead of dwelling on the negatives. I thought I was at the Indian gaming Casinos here in Arizona, hit a $2500 jackpot on a nicle machine, then a month after that was in a drawingfor "suited" blackjacks tickets recieved, and got 2k more in chips. I've also gotten this "luckey ladies" side bet they have a total of 3 times its a pair of Queens of hearts. pays 125 to 1 the first time with $3 the 2nd $5 and the 3rd with $8, the best day was jackpot after jackpot totalling 6K, but over the 2 years I've gambled I am actually down over 30K. I have worked hard, all my life for what I own, (at average of only $10/hour), and this has put a strain on my realization of exiistence experience. But now rarely go, never bring my debit or credit cards, or over one or 2 "Franklins" and if I can get ahead 100, I walk out the door, quittin winners (which is the hardest thing for a gambler to do). I remember the misery now, and even if I have lost most of my $30 - $150 bi monthly allowance, I never walk out broke, that crushing loser feeling isnt worth it, I walk out with at least 10% of what I came in with. I believe the opposite of "Murphy's Law" happens a thousand times more often, most of us just take for granted all the little miracles around us everyday. for example... That time you would have ran out of gas didn't happen, and so because it wasn't a negative impact, it wasn't noticed or regarded as a positive one. When autos were first being mass produced, the insurance people were dumbfounded, by such few accidents actually occured. They first thought that stubboen people trying to get where they were going, would cross other with same mindset and there would be constant collision, ...the opposite happened, the expectation influence ( of subconciousely mentally projecting oneself to their destination) kind of pulled them there. The cumulative synoptic paragon of our "being group". is one of cooperation, The interactive cosmos wants us to succeed, "Team Human populate the Universe, will be our evolved eventuality, simpy because the only other possible final result, is extinction.

If I am relying on "luck", I am not lucky, at all. If I am relying on hard work and determination, I am really accomplished!
