i play violin to ( and piano!!!!) and my mums always onto me about practice to, and i also have heaps of homework.
I just do up a schedule in my head, that prioristies the most important homework based on when its due and how large it is.
(it makes me feel organised =D) I tell my mum that i will practise after i have done some of my hw. Then i have a break and go back to homework again.
Dont lie, she will always find out some way and it just gets you into bigger trouble

Do all of your homework as fast as you can but make sure you get it correct and check your answers!! Next, at night I usually read as much as I can and sometimes stay up late... he he he lol
German Revision and essay, when you go to school, or even at the local store or something, CRAM CRAM CRAM!!! Get in as much you can do!
With Violin, What you chould do is FIRST do your school work THEN practice violin. If you dont have high academic scores, you wont be good at violin because in life you will need not only skills but academic advantages can come up in life too!
And, I have just started guitar and my sister Ukelele, FREE TIME PEOPLE! FREE TIME!!!!!!

Do you have a dad?? I would explain to both your parents that the stress level you are incurring because of your school homework doesn't merit cheating yourself out of needed sleep time for the violin. Even if your mom has big dreams of a famous violinist child, it is still your life and after all the homework you should be allowed to go for a walk or read a book for relaxing. Another thing, stressing out teenagers over all this homework and then extra curricular activities has sent many teenagers into stroke, heart attack or made runaways. You sound like a terrific young person to me and if you were my relative you wouldn't have to practice the violin for me to love you. Tell your parents your stress level has been maxed and you want to see your personal doctor for anxiety and stress related symptoms. Tell your parents you want to talk to the doctor alone and tell them parents who put you on guilt trips are also adding to this high level of stress. Tell your doctor what you told all of us at Yahoo answers. At least we care what happens to you if your parents don't listen to you. Your questions have gotten me very concerned for you. so um all the written HW do first screw violin until your done with that, then do revision in weird places like the bathroom, also NO ONE can check wether u revised or not but they CAN scream at u for forgettin some written thing....for readin call a friend and ask wat happens+scim through really fast before bed.
