It stands for age groups and is called a demographic. The two age groups you listed are those who are considered to be prime targets for buying things. And that is, after all, the key reason for any TV broadcast on any commercial TV channel or network.
What you read is a ratings review. It is used by ad agencies and sponsors to determine what TV show is worthy of carrying their ads.
