picnic in the park or on the beach?

A picnic in the park would be the best place. (ants and flys)
A picnic on the beach could be a challenge (sand and wind).
Have a picnic in the park and then a walk on the beach (bare footed of course).

The beach because after you get the salt water taste in your mouth, you won't put as much salt on your food. Therefore, the same picnic meal will more healthfully eaten at the beach and not the park.

I would love to have a picnic on the beach simply because I've never been to the beach.

Personally I prefer the beach. I'd rather sit at a picnic table on the beach instead of sitting in the sand though, because sandy food is nasty. :-P

I much prefer the beach in general, but to eat I think a park would mean less sand blowing into my food.

I prefer the park....as the others..the sand gets in the way...
plus..some beaches do not allow pets and is rather crowded..
I love the feel of green grass and we get some cool shade from the big trees in the park...

Definitely beach. I can go to a park anytime. It's too much like your own backyard filled with strangers.
