Every word of your question is true. They are all facts. We should not merely see how many runs are scored by Sachin. We have to see how many matches have we won against strong teams and how far his batting supported our wins. He opted out of 20-20 matches, because he knew that it would be his downfall. By playing 20-20, he may lose the opportunity to play other versions of the game as well.
He is now blocking the entry of the young lads to the highest level of the game. Just as he got the break at 16, the young ones now are unable to.
With the youngsters, we may lose a series of matches. But, is it anything new to us? Have we not lost with the veterans in the team on so many occasions. By experimenting, we may discover some great players from the young talent.

U know that Sachin is not a man or just cricketer for Indians. Everyone might have heard "If cricket is a religion, then sachin is the god". And you know Sachin is the one and the only player in Indian cricket whom the selectors will include in Indian Cricket Team untill he says I'm(Sachin) tired. He got this power because every breathe of him contains cricket. He will be the only cricketer in the world who came to play cricket on the next day after his a father's funeral. He came to play only because of his dedication to that game and not becoz of his gredy. And you know that he made a century that game (in this occasion u have to remember that its a game all about concentration and sachins situation was all about to lose concentration, but still he won) which is u forgettable.
Many modern cricketers started playeing cricket because of their craze towards him.You have to understand Sachin is not just a cricketer, he is some thing more than that.

Its nothing about greed or ne thing such. He is just 34 yrs n should wait for some more years. Its nothing about that. If he wanted more money he would have not opted out of the T20 event in SA in Sept '07. Besides that see Sanath Jayasuriya, he's not recieving any criticism for staying uptill 37 yrs n still playing cricket.

what the hell?? i'll murder you... how dare you call Sachin a hypocrite?? without Sachin Tendulkar Indian cricket wwould never have been the way it is...
I accept the fact that he ought to have retired a long time ago... but that doesn't give you the right to call him a hypocrite..shut up.
all you said is applicable to Ganguly not to Tendulkar... he's the weirdo out there... he's the one in the team for the sake of ads.. he's the one spoiling the team...
shut up abt Sachin or risk your account getting suspended...

Just check out the no of runs he scored in last three series.
Indian cricket will stand nowhere without him.
He gives more money than anybody in charity works. If u want to raise voice then there are many ploticans, IPS , IAS raise voice against them. Sachin is gettin what he deserves.

i dont agree with you he has dedicated his precious time of his life for cricket .now if anybody acknowledges his effort ..by monetary benefits then i dont think it is wrong.he is not going to beg from anybody .companies are themeselves ready to shelve out money for him. companies will also gain from his stature.he is still fit and active as other players on the field.i think he can still play for next 2 years
