Double digit inflation
Double digit unemployment
Energy crisis
American embassy held hostage/ridicuous and anemic rescue attempt
Failed to support the Shah creating the first Islamofascist state, bringing us all the terrorist fun we are having today.
Gave the Chinese the Panama Canal
The list could go on and on. But if I did that I would have to go into his failure and treason as an ex President.
I guess brother Jimmy has two points of sucess; his bufoonery ushered in the Reagan landslide and no other modern President has to worry about being called the worst President ever.
Out of a field of 43 I would rate him 50th

THE WORST THE COUNTRY HAS EVER SEEN in OFFICE !!!! He may be a great humanitarian and help out with Habitat for Humanity and as a diplomate but during his administration we had 28% interst rates at banks and people couldn't afford anything. The oil embargo and bad recessions. A lot of AMERICANS SUFFERED financially under his administration. You can't really blame it on him though because we had other governments working against him like the members of OPEC. But I would have to rank him # 43 out of the last 43 Presidents if we were ranking from #1 to #43.

It just goes to show that success in the military (didn't he go to the naval academy) doesn't necessarily equate to success as a president.
