Sun is a star.
The nuclear fusion(Hydrogen+Helium)gives energy for the sun.
Each second matter is getting converted into energy in the sun.
So, Sun would lose all its contents at one stage due to mass loss by release of energy

Mass - 1.9891 ×10^30 kg (or 332946 Eaths!)

Energy source - Nuclear fusion. Helium nuclei fuse into helium in hydrostatic equilibrium (so Sun neither contracts or expands over time)

Hope that helped!
