thius is how i would try it :
ortder the rankings from low to high :
r1, r2,r3,r4,r5

given is that
r5 - r4=9 ( from X column)
r4-r2=4 ( from Y column )
r3=43
so r1 or r2 = 38 ( from 2003 column )

the underlines goes too quick for me too but i am sure that with my logic and equations you can figure out
