You have a Bosch 4 grove 65 or 75 amp alt , same as most 1991 jeeps .check with a auto parts store and see what the no are. and position on mount brackets. If you need a break down on the alt go to a re builder he can give you a break down or tell you if it will work . some pulleys are different on both alt

Those two alternators most likely would bolt up. MAYBE going for a mitsubishi to mitsubishi, but not from mitus to chrysler.
They also may have different amperage. Larger cars require more juice to run different components.

Call autozone or so a search on the internet and check out the prices. Most of the time, is a swap item, you return the broken one and then it gets rebuilt and resold to someone else with a Jeep.
They aren't all that much. good luck.

alternators are not too expensive 50 to 150.. all makes have certain ones that fit.. cant just swap them unless same exact car.. eight cylinder jeeps is ur best bet.. six usually pop head gaskets.. cherekee .. wranglers are like horses and buy one

might work -- go to a wrecking yard and get a used or rebuilt unit for the mirage, most yards give you something for your old one cuz they can rebuild them and resell them -- and they'll take the one back that you bot from them if it;s soon enough after the sale (like a week or so)

very few car of different makes like ford to dodge, Chevy to Honda etc use the same alternator.
your best bet is call around to places like auto zone, kragens, napa, etc and tell the the make & model of veichle you have. you will also need size of motor too. to get a price.
be sure and take old one with you just to make sure the match up and you will need it for the core charge

They are care specific. If you are going to get one, go to a palce that offers a lifetime warranty on it. Usually they are around $200-$300.
