Ones meaning in life is very personal, and no one can answer such a question for you.
In the most basic terms, I believe that the meanin of life has a great deal to do with being the best person that you can be, and to remain conscious of such, as to not fall into wrong-doings.

Honestly? To reproduce. We are mammals, born with animal instincts to eat, sleep, and make babies, just like other mammals, and amphibians, and reptiles, and birds, and whatever else.
However, because we have higher mental capacities than other living creatures, sometimes our minds can overpower our bodily needs - we choose to do an all-nighter to finish that essay, we choose to stay abstinent, we starve ourselves because we are too insecure about our bodies.
Also, however, as higher-functioning specimens, we choose not to "lower ourselves" to a swine's level; we're better than that! We choose to believe that we are here to serve some higher, ultimate purpose, like making the world a better place. And while that is probably the new meaning of life, and is perfectly legitimate now that we allow ourselves options to the eat-sleep-mate-fight rule, it wasn't really the original one.
A lot of people seek religion as the means to explain life. And while that does make decisions easier, it is ultimately up to you to decide what life is about. If what makes you happy is working full-time as a doctor, then helping others puts meaning in your life. If it's falling in love and making babies with your husband, then by all means, make those babies.

The meaning of life is to live it to the full, and treat others as you would like them to treat you. Show respect.

Life to me is something you make. What you make of yourself will determine your destiny. If you have prepared yourself well in the beginning so that you will have a bright future to look forward to then, that's how life will unfold for you. Fail at the start and the future is bleak for you.

The meaning of life is what you think or make. you live and you die the meaning of what goes on in between is really up to you ...we can not tell you the meaning..we do not see through your dreary eye...however, if you watch the matrix you may find that meaning...of life...then watch Transformers.

TO be the best person you can be in life. To always strive for bettering yourself. To lead others to greatness. To uplift and to love others. Not just accept your current level of developement, but to strive for more and to never become stagnant. To use your talents, but also realize that just relying on your talents is not enough. You have to develop and overcome your shortcomings as well.
To LIVE life.

no onr knows until they're dead, and can speak to either god or satan about why you were born in the first place.
i'm just living my life as happily as possible. who knows, tomorrow may the end of the world, so you might as well not hesitate to do anything.
BUT! i think the matrix theory is pretty close to it. we might be sleeping, and in our own little dream world, not knowing weird robot things are controlling our minds..
