Everyone could see how corupt Alberto Gonzales was so how come Bush kept saying "He's a good man"?

Politics. Gonzales likely was Bush's "gateway" towards getting certain pet programs launched, bills and/or laws passed---stuff that could line Bush's pockets nicely.
My guess: Quiet Mexican trade issues between them and the U.S.
First law of politics--do NOTHING or back anyone unless you stand to gain something sweet from it.

Whoever said that GWB was blind? It's more like "birds of a feather flock together". How could he 'cop' to Gonzales's shortcomings and dishonesty without admitting to his own?

I have a better question:
Why was America so blind as to put the Democrats in charge of both chambers of Congress? Weren't we warned that if it happened we could look forward to 2 years of nothing but one investigation after another?
Isn't that what we got?
Well, America, have you learned your lesson yet? Have you had enough of the democrats and stupidity, vicious attacks on military leaders, open warfare against the executive government, and blackmail on every issue that comes up for vote?

that's the architect of the legal language that de-humanizes absolutely everyone who opposes the choose of the U. S. and subverts the very concepts upon which the very legal technique of this government replaced into based. Due technique is in simple terms no longer the comparable. He could bypass.

He was a good man to GWB. He followed all of his orders, legal or not, then didn't implicate him to save himself.
