I'm a hundred percent Canadian. If you want to know someone's ethnicity or ancestry, you should use one of those words. Some people take offense when you imply they have to claim allegiance to a country other than the one they were born in. My ancestry is about 25 percent French, 25 percent Cree, 25 percent British and 25 percent Swiss.

Candian...if you go way back...maybe 60% Irish and 40% Enlglish
