and a side note... if i can take any RB in the league not named barber, i take peterson. LT was a little girl when things weren't going so well. i don't want a whiner on my team. LT never wins a SB. mark my words

if we're talking overall, does crying in interviews after a loss fall in the category of "overall"?

silly woody. it's marion. and maybe it's because he led the NFC in TD's last year while sharing the carries with Julius Jones. 14 TD's in a 2 back offense? i don't think anyone has ever done that. correct me if i'm wrong

By the numbers, he's not. Adrian Peterson is the current leader (overtaking Travis Henry of the Broncos). I do agree that Marion Barber III just has that second gear, toughness, and agility that will make him a dominant running back. If the Rams can put together some semblance of an o-line, Steven Jackson should return to form because he also had moments of pause last year. Honorable Mention : Ronnie Brown (this year - even with that ridiculously pathetic o-line he's putting up great numbers)
The Best? Consider also LT (obvious), Joseph Addai (up and comer), Frank Gore (when will he show? he had moments last year), Reggie Bush (atypical but always deadly even through this terrible year), LJ (the goods but he's having a terrible year), Willy Parker

Barber III is a machine. What is slowing him down is having Julius Jones on the team (split carries). Also, Wade Phillips needs to get a clue and start Barber III every game. Probably why the Cowboys have been struggling to score TDs in the 1st quarter. You have to establish a ground game and Barber III is the guy to do it, not Jones. Of course, unless you're as accurate as Tom Brady w/ all sorts of weapons to throw at.

ok hold on. i love the cowboys but barber isnt an every down back, he doesnt make a lot of people miss. yeah he is a good change of pace back. but he isnt a threat to kill a team in the running game. if he was a 25-30 carry a game back he wouldnt have been drafted so late. i think he is an ideal situation where he has to split carries with another back. i like jones but he isnt getting the job done. i think dallas needs to bring in a more complimentary back. somebody who is maybe bigger and faster than barber. because i think in the 4th quarter with two rugged backs like barber and maybe a bruiser you can really destroy a team in crunch time and just grind out a lot of yards. or get a smaller faster back. either way i think barbers worth is splitting time not being the featured back. i dont want to see barber worn down from too many unnecessary carries.

LT remains the main suitable RB out of the gang. he will capture a minimum of sixty 5 or 70 passes and could score the main TDs usual. After that i could flow with Ronnie Brown or Marion Barber because of the fact of their use around the purpose line. R Brown has a mild part because of the fact of his use interior the Wildcat offense.

14 TDs in a 2-back system? jones had 4. 18 total. let's compare that to LT's 28 rushing TDs. my math sucks, but according to my calculations, so does your runningback.

umm cuz hes not? if u wanna talk overall then u give the nod to LT, and those in that group cuz they'll definitely put up better numbers the next 5 years and right now hes not the best runningback so idk how u can argue that he is either way u look at it
