No, you're not over-reacting. You have every right to want to keep your family safe. Just tell your husband of your concerns.

I'm going to tell you a story that is true it happened about 15 years ago in my home town. A couple like you hadn't been married to long and her husband made friends like your husband. One night the husband came home from a bar with a friend he had just met two day prier they came in woke the wife up and started to drink. It got late so they said he could spend the night. The next day his wife's mother was concerned and came to their apartment because her daughter didn't go to work the front door was unlock leading up to their apartment. They found the husband dead on the steps leading up to the apartment and found the wife in her bed she had been raped and stabbed to death. The guy the husband let spend the night killed them both. Tell your husband bad things do happen to people that are to friendly.

No , you are not over reacting at all. Do have a talk with your hubby and explain to him what you wrote here. On this times, one can't be too nice with strangers. He just might be a good kid and all, but before he wants to help some stranger he should have all the trust in him or her. Know everything there is to know about that person before you bring him in your house. I agree with you 100% You tell ur hubby it is a bad idea and you are not comfortable. Your husband is just a good man who likes to help others, but you don't know who is who and just say NOOOOOO!!

Your overreacting on some aspects. warning is definetly solid, like I wouldnt enable somebody I relatively knew into my homestead the two. however the new child is 12, hes unlikely to kidnap absolutely everyone and particular as could be isn't a rapist. thats the place youre getting too paranoid. Your husband is in all probability in simple terms attempting to help the new child transition into the community, exchange at that age is complicated. yet at 12, hes unlikely to be making plans a theft, rape or kidnapping. suitable desires!

I think it's ok to screen a bit, but I also think you are over-reacting. You and hubby are not that much older than the 20-year-old.
I also think it's wonderful that your husband gives people the benefit of the doubt....too many people are so afraid to trust these days. I think you should be happy that your husband is not a hermit or an anti-social freakazoid.

The "mark" of a mature man is one who will listen to what his wife has to say. Express yourself to him, with the same concern you are showing in your post. He'll listen.

You are not over reacting. Tell your husband to stop picking up strays because someday, he will pick up the wrong one.
