Assuming you and he are informally "seperated", you're likely aren't going to get a straight or honest answer about your estranged husband's monthly income, because he doesn't have to report that information by law. So it's understandable why he has so far talked you into NOT getting a divorce lawyer.
Get a divorce attorney who can court subponea your husband's employer to disclose that information--which his employer has to do by law once they receive such legal documentation. Your divorce attorney can also petition your estranged husband, as part of the divorce settlement, to pay your attorney's fees as well--so there's really no reason to retain the services of an attorney.
Of course, you can go through low-income "legal aid" attorney services, but given they are grossly overburdened with cases from other hard-luck low income souls, you might not get the fast quality service you deserve---but your divorce, after time, will be processed.

Is it necessary to know how much money he makes? Is he providing for his family? paying the bills? If he is, why worry about it.....your grammar isn't very good but I assume "cheating "meant he is not being completely honest about his salary.

the salary of the employees is fixed according to their designation and posts and widely known. as regards business, contact your husband's auditor for correct information. however if u are not feeling financial problems in running household and u r paid well for personal expenses let him keep secret.

90% of husbands hide the only secret is their salary. They have freedom only in this(!) check whether he is having any bad habits lik smoking, drinking, gambling, night street spending etc. Give everything you ought to give him and then see his reaction. All the best!!!!!!!!

If he is lying to you about what he makes what is his reason? You can't really do much of anything except ask him why and where the heck is the money.
