HOW DO YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM? it must be hardd....

I have 8 box turtles.I used to have 20 turtles and a tortoise,but I gave some of the baby turtles to wildlife centers and a few of the turtles died,some during hibernation,and three who got out of their enclosure and got killed by cars :( I have since repaired the enclosure and they are fine.They are not hard to care for.They have a large outdoor pen for summer,and stay in a large tank in the winter( I stopped hibernating them because of the ones that dies)They eat almost anything,and they don't need to be walked,LOL!

I've never had 12 turtles, but I've had 3 turtles,4 lizards, 9 hamsters, 256 fish, 9 dogs, 7 cats, and 2 rabbits, all at the same time. taking care of turtles isn't really hard at all you just check up on it every few hours, feed it,give it water and clean the cage every so often make sure that your turtle lives in a clean environment. turtles can eat pellets and stuff but they like to eat things like lattice, and tomatoes the best. they like vegetables. when you water it you can ether put the water in a bowl with a sponge or you could just use the bowl, or sponge.

I own 4 and it is an ongoing process of keeping them healthy and fed. But if you have the proper set up it helps alot...and I love doing it. As for 12 once again..with the proper set up it wouldn't be that bad...
It is when you first get started that it is the hardest...on the pocketbook!!

no,i have 4 ybs turtles,its not really hard to look after them,the right food,lighting,heating and clean water all make a happy turtle,and pleanty of space to swim in too,i just brought my turtles a huge tank :)
