Follow this steps it's easier:
1.) 6p - 4 = 2p - 5 Combine similar terms. Just transpose it.
6p - 2p = 4 - 5 If you move a term to the other side of the
equal sign it will change its sign
4p/4 = -1/4 To get p divide both side by 4.
p = 1/4
The same steps with other numbers.
2.) 7c - 6 = 5 - 2c
7c + 2c = 6 +5
9c/9 = 11/9
c = 11/9
3.) 6g - 3 = 9g + 12
6g - 9g = 12 + 3
-3g/-3 = 15/-3
g = -5

1.)
6p - 4 = 2p - 5 ADD 4 and SUBTRACT 2p to both sides
4p = -1 DIVIDE both sides by 4
p = - 1/4 ANSWER
Check by putting into equation
6p - 4 = 2p - 5
6(-1/4) - 4 = 2(-1/4) - 5
-6/4 - 4 = -2/4 -5 MULTIPLY both sides by 4
-6 - 16 = -2 - 20
-22 = -22 Checks out
--------------------------------------...
2.)
7c - 6 = 5 - 2c ADD 6 and 2c to both sides of the equation
7c - 6 + 6 + 2c = 5 - 2c + 6 + 2c
9c = 11 DIVIDE both sides by 9
c = 11/9 ANSWER
Check put into original equation
7c - 6 = 5 - 2c
7(11/9) - 6 = 5 - 2(11/9)
77/9 - 6 = 5 - 22/9
8 5/9 - 6 = 5 - 2 4/9
2 5/9 = 2 5/9 Checks out
--------------------------------------...
3.)
6g - 3 = 9g + 12 SUBTRACT 6g and 12 from both sides
-15 = 3g DIVIDE both sides by 3
-5 = g ANSWER
Check by putting into equation
6g - 3 = 9g + 12
6(-5) - 3 = 9(-5) + 12
-30 -3 = - 45 + 12
-33 = -33 Checks out

1) 6p - 4 = 2p - 5
-2p both sides
=> 4p -4 = -5
+4 both sides
=> 4p = -1
=> 1/4(4p) = 1/4(-1)
=> p = -1/4 or -0.25
2) 7c - 6= 5 - 2c
+2c both sides
=> 9c - 6 = 5
+6 both sides
=> 9c = 11
=> 1/9(9c) = 1/9(11)
=> c = 11/9 or 1.222
3) 6g - 3 = 9g + 12
-9g both sides
=> -3g - 3 = 12
+3 both sides
=> -3g = 15
=> -1/3(3g) = -1/3(15)
=> g= -5

1) Subtract 2p from each side
4p - 4 = -5
add 4 to each side
4p = -1
divide each side by 4
p = -1 /4
2) add 2c to each side
9c - 6 = 5
add 6 to each sid
9c = 11
divide each side by 9
c = 11/9
3) subtract 6g from each side
-3 = 3g + 12
subtract 12 from each side
-15 = 3g
divide each side by 3
-5 = g

Very easy.
6p-4 = 2p - 5
Add 4 on both sides, making it
6p = 2p - 1
Then you subtract 2p from both sides, making it
4p = -1
Therefore p = -0.25 (4 x what equals -1 ?)
Follow the same principle for the others.

first, you would want to combine like terms so
1) 4p=-1 reason: combining like terms using properties of equality
1)p=-1/4 reason: division property of equality
we done here
2) 9c=11 reason: combining like terms
well what were getting here is that anything that has similar terms i.e. 4p and 6p are like terms you can combing them
