So I just watched this movie, Because I Said So, and that almost happens in the movie and my initial reaction was like eew that isnt even legal! But my friend said it was! So which one is right?

If you didnt understand the question it would be like your partner's parents marrying one of your own parents

Legally i guess they can but it does not sound right. I guess if they really love each other then you should be happy for them. There is a special someone out there for everyone and maybe they are each others special one.

As long as they are not blood relations in the first degree, there should be no legal problem.

However, it may be kind of creepy when the folks visit and get frisky; you and your spouse may start feeling like sister and brother.
