He didn't do too well at Cleveland. He lost with the Pats until Tom Brady became quarterback. I think Tom Brady has made Belichek what he is. What do you think?

I think you're absolutely right. Can you imagine another quarterback stepping in for Tom Brady? But, I could imagine another coach stepping in, and the team would just keep on doing what they're doing. Tom Brady is brilliant, like Joe Montana was.

Belichek kept Brady, who is possibly the best quarterback of all time (though not my opinion) off the field until injury. To his credit his specialty is defense and their defense has been amazing. Last time I checked Brady does not any sacks or picks. Remember that their first championship was one with great defense and special teams, their offense was no where near what it is now.

to answer your question, is he over rated? no.
he has coached his team to be one of the best teams in the league no matter what the sqaud is.
oh no running back? no problem we'll run for over 100 yrds
no wide recievers (last year)? no prob we'll just come one drive away from winning the superbowl (its a given they would have beat the bears)
and what do you mean they didnt do too well at cleveland? pretty sure they beat them by 17.

he isnt over rated

oh ya. what are you guys all saying about "what if another coach stepped in, they'd be just as good"
what the hell?
did you all happen to miss the 14-2 chargers get a simple coaching change and fall apart??
coaching is HUGE

No, but I wished he had coached like this when he was the Cleveland Browns Head Coach, but then again he did not have the players.

I think he is a great coach. He was the Defensive Coordinator for those great Giants teams of the mid and late 80s.

If anyone could explain to me how can a coach that leads a team to 3 superbowl wins in 4 years and to another perfect season this year, be overrated, I would try to listen, but chances are that you can't justify the claim. He is really really good!!! you can't overrate him.

The Pats lose big-name players in key positions every year but they keep winning.

I have to admit, he must be doing something right. It takes more than a good QB to have a team that consistently good.

all coach's are dependent on there players but he knows what he's doing and tom Brady is the one over rated cause his o line and receiver make him not to mention his Rb it's a team coach's take blame for losing so let them enjoy there Win's when they get them

Hmmm...3 Super Bowls...I'm thinking you're full of crap and don't know much about football...

Is Tony Dungy overrated?...He got fired from the Bucs and never made it close to the Super Bowl before Peyton...Get real...They're both good...

He is a good coach but he has got to thank Tom for being such a good QB.

Oh yeah. He cheated the game just like many other athletes have done so that makes all his wins tainted including the Super Bowls he won.
