Do you think it's possible for a teacher to be seduced by their student (if the student was in high school, not grade school or anything)? Teachers are always blamed for any sexual encounters with students but do you think in a case where the student "went after" the teacher, that the teacher is morally and/or legally responsible? Because when it comes down to it, people are people who make mistakes. Also in cases (not just with teachers) with an older male and a younger girl, it's always a big deal but when the situation's reversed, very few poeple actually see any problem with it for the boy? Please post thoughts.

Note: This isn't me and I don't plan on seducing any of my teachers. I'm just curious about people's thoughts on the subject.

But not all teachers are 40 years old. Don't forget that they're are 24 year old teachers (and younger) and 16, 17 or 18 year old students which isn't a big age gap.

Frankly, I am just as disgusted when female teachers mess around with their students. They should be given equally harsh sentencing and serve the same amount of time, period.

I don't believe any person of maturity can seriously be seduced by a teenager. They can become drunk on the adoration directed at them by the younger party, but that is not the same thing. Of course, it could also just be a pedophile's sick sexual proclivity, too.

I am 22 and know that real "seduction" involves a certain parity of intellects...something I imagine would be missing between, say, a 40 year old and a 16 year old, unless, like I said, the 40 year old is screwed up, maturity-wise.

Basically, most teacher-student liasons involve some factor of abuse, as most people under 18 are generally too green to understand the implications of what they're involved in.

College professors, well that's a whole different ball of wax!

EDIT: It shouldn't MATTER whether they're 24 or 40. Having a relationship with someone who is your student is simply unethical. And I know that I wouldn't be turned on by an 18 year old, but then again I don't get off on being with younger people just for the sake of being with younger people. If you date a student, you're probably really immature for your age...sorry.

Yes, of course. The responsible teacher waits for the student to graduate before engaging if he/she is responsible ethically and morally. There have been many not so controversial cases of a teacher marrying a former student. Whether or not one calls it love or seduction, the fact is even if they had a relationship they were smart enough to keep it discrete until they could show those feeling in public. Of course temptation is there, but there is a certain respect that should be paid to the student / teacher relationship.

Of course it's possible, there are minors who already have women's bodies, and men are stimulated visually.
