hmmm, well if your questioning if losing your freedom is worth it then you really need to think about it hun. I loved being independent and free of the drama that goes with a relationship, but hey it did get lonely at times too. Just because you start dating someone, as hard as it is, you dont have to get serious right away.
If you are talking that way, it must be something that you often do with relationships, I did the same thing. So if your lonely, talk to him, but take it real slow and dont commit to anything unless you are sure.
you make the rules for you, not a man...good luck

look up the dictionary the word flirt:----
Playful behaviour intended to arouse sexual interest
A seductive woman who uses her sex appeal to exploit men
Talk or behave amorously, without serious intentions
Behave carelessly or indifferently
where does it say "I want you to marry me" come on flirting is not asking for marriage, sometimes if taken the wrong way has caused women to get sexually assulted, but no guy should take flirting as a "yes have me", it should only be taken as " I like a little verbal fun" so why not , most guys would enjoy or should enjoy a female flirting with them, does not do any harm as long as you know the difference between flirting and saying "I am yours do what you want" keep it simple, and you will enjoy yourself, pity more people wouldn't enjoy other peoples company or a moments passing with a little flirt or two

Oh dear, here we go again. Why do women make as if it was a privilege to be single, when millions of years of the survival of our species have since proved otherwise? Why do women talk of the "freedom and happiness" of being single and then act needier than a thirsty baby 5 minutes later?

Flirt away! Just because you might end up dating someone doesn't mean you are going to spend the rest of your life with him. It could be that he will end up being "Mr. Right," but more likely he will end up just being "Mr. Right Now." Besides, it takes two to have a lasting relationship, and maybe he doesn't want to be committed either. Sometimes, it is just more fun to share life with a guy--for awhile anyway.

Freedom and happiness come first in my book.
I'm probably twice maybe 3 X's your age and I've never been married!
My freedom, happiness and having my own space have been invaluable.
You can get married any ole time BUTT try to get unmarried for a little peace, quite, freedom and space!!!!!

Seems Sidney has a good solution there, Tin.
Be sure you can trust his nature an personality 1st if you decide to flirt with him. You know some guys don't think highly of ladys who do that.
Good Luck.

The bad thing is if it doesn't work out. He'll give you dirty looks every time he sees a new guy. Then you have the awkward moments in the hallway checking mail, taking out garbage. In the summer time you might want to chill at the pool. That might be uncomfortable. Then you might see his new girl and get jealous. Its a myriad of bad scenarios that could play out.

You will flirt with this man, my dear. You cannot help yourself. He is too good looking for you, however. I am sorry to be the one to tell you this. Flirt away, my pretty. It will be good practice for another, somewhat uglier man who is in your future. If you succeed, I will be happy for you, but I don't consider it likely. This is just a reality check.
