no offense but alot of these suggestions suck.
i dont think any of you drive a muscle car.
i have an estranged taste in music [rockabilly/psychobilly/metal/punk] and a 65 mustang ;o]

my playlist would include:
Billy Talent- Devil in a Midnight Mass
Deftones- Engine no.9
Gutter Demons- Paurve Martin
Avenged Sevenfold- Bat Country
Ignite- Bleeding
The Mars Volta- Inertiatic Esp.
Muse- Knights of Cydonia
Opeth- Ghosts of Perdition
Blindside- Pitiful
Dredg- The Tanbark is Hot Lava
The Living End- End Of the World
Tiger Army- Nocturnal
or some old school papa roach.

and if your driving a long windey highway to the beach
i suggest Circa Survive's cd On Letting Go.
it always puts me in a good stoned state. :]

*MOST* of these suggestions rock. Several suck tho.

Just sick in Bad Motor Scooter by Montrose & crank it on up! Or you can play Flirtin' With Disaster by Molly Hatchett. Another good one would be Livin' After Midnight by Priest but only play that one at night. There IS a difference! Then there's Rock & Roll by Zepp. Any of these should do just fine!

"Highway Star" by Deep Purple, the quintessential hard-drivin' song about a guy and his car. Check it out. Lines like "nobody's gonna take my car" and "it's a killer machine, it's got everything" make it a standout for the road.
