A big mix of both - when I was younger I much preferred to read a book rather than play sports (although Im built like a farmboy and have always done pretty well at them) I was very quiet because of self esteem issues - I didnt want to express my opinions in fear that others would think they were stupid. Over the course of highschool I trained myself to be more outgoing and it saved me :) While you're young you should be outspoken and opinionated - it shows confidence in this crucial time. Most quiet people are of two breeds: low self esteem, or the "walk softly and carry a big stick" people who only speak when it is important. I think people should be outspoken until their late twenties, then do their best to calculate everything before opening their mouths.

im so talkative man it is crazy i could sit herr and talk all day long and just never quit hey i know i will count to 100 for you 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 1 415 16 17 181 9120 crap i lost count okay so ya ppl tell me i am like they energizer bunny but a cuter version but ya i talk all the time my mom says that i could talk the head off of a iron staue but i dont think so how about u?

I was the quiet type until I got into the Air Force in 1968. Now I can almost talk you out of your room. That is true, because when I worked for an armored car company I ran my boss out of his office. He was also a Vietnam Vet. We got along great but a times it was fun just to get under his skin. I still laugh at that one. He left instead of telling me to shut up and get the Hell out of his office. HA! HA! HA! Okay that's enough Bulldog.

I'm pretty quiet and shy, but I open up a bit after getting to know somebody. When I'm around somebody who talks a lot I get frustrated and I have to force myself to not walk away from that person.
