Fruits, veggies, salad dressing, plastic utensils, cheese and cracker, chips, trail mix, leftover chicken/meatballs etc (for soups/stews).

When the kids go to camp I put their toothbrushes, soaps, and other toiletries in zip locks. This year I even used the LARGE ziplock to sort out their CLOTHING. My youngest had the hardest time "finding" anything in his back last year so this year I put 10 (the required number) of socks in one ziplock, 10 underwear in another, 10 t-shirts in another, etc. etc. and marked them with a marker. This way they wouldn't get wet going across the lake on the boat, the dirty didn't go back in with the clean, and everything was organized and he loved it. Now all my kids want me to do that when they go away! LOL

Also, Knick knacks of every kind, buttons, beads, and other craft supplies. Huge ziplock bags are also good for clothing you want to protect, and for costumes and accessories, and anything items I don't want to get dusty like Christmas decorations. I use large clear garbage bags with ties for GARAGE items too. I really hate dust. I'm allergic to it actually.

Zip locks and garbage bags are just WONDERFUL!!!!!
