I have found hundreds of these rocks and all my life I've heard them called "Lucky Rocks" but can anyone tell me what they are actually called or even how they are made...I'd really appreciate any help you can give me.

Hard to say from one photograph but they look very much like parts of the fossilized stems of a sea creature known as a CRINOID. Do a Google or Wikipedia search and have a look at the pictures and I think you will see how alike they are.

That does not look like a rock. It looks like a fossil. But something about it doesn't look real. But it could just be the photo. Take it to your local university or college and have someone from their geology department ID it.

If indeed they are Crinoids, then they predate the dinosaurs, as they were around long before the huge reptiles showed up. Neat!
