If your motherboard supports Raid 0 it is possible that you might have an onboard controller that has a separate bios that prompts after your initial bios prompt. Look for a Press Fx after your intial Press Fx for bios setup screen. If you do not see it then follow the other guys advice. Also, hardware Raid is generally going to be faster than software Raid so if you have the choice, go with the hardware.

There are two ways to implement raid. One way is with hardware (a controller) that performs the functions for you.

Windows XP also has built in software raid support through dynamic drives, but of course it isn't as good as the hardware option and you must install windows to use the feature.

If you go the software route, you can open the disk management control by typing MMC in the START-RUN box and then clicking Add/Remove Snap-In. Add the disk management snap-in. Convert both drives to Dynamic drives and select the type of raid you want.

I had to buy an SATA controller & configure it for Raid 0.
