Anyone eles ever have nmightmares that your newborn got kidnapped?

i had a dream when my oldest(now 11) was about 1yr old. This man kept chasing me around the neighborhood and eventually it ended up me chasing him cause he had my son. I had never even seen the man in my dream before. The very next day when i went outside the man i had never met was standing on the lawn of a neighbours house. I moved out of that neighbourhood but later found out he had been arrested on kidnapping charges. It was the most scary dream i have ever had. It felt so real and i truly though in my dream that this man was not going to give my son back or i wouldn't be able to get him back.

This is probably the most common nightmare. It does not stop when the child is an adult, believe me.

We have all felt this way.

P.S. I thought I lost my son in an airport once. I was talking with the gate agent and he wandered off. I am a pilot and I was in uniform. I screamed like someone so absolutely scared and crazy. My son had simply gone to the windows to see the planes and asked for a hamburger. Probably the worst 5 minutes of my life. You aren't alone.

I think most new mothers or mothers of newborns in general have nightmares , I did but mine came usually before my babies were born .. once they got here my mind eased a little and the nightmares stopped .. They are scary thats for sure :)

Oh yeah, with my first child I was paranoid all the time for months! Once, right after I got out of the hospital a friend of mine and I went to Walmart, and she dropped me off at the door so I wouldn't have to walk, and when I didn't see her after a few minutes I started screaming because I thought she took off with my baby!...She still laughs at me about that!
