I know that news on television (CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc.) is garbage because of corporate sponsors...so much not reported...but how about the AP? I read lots of news online, via Yahoo news. Does Yahoo filter out certain stories to retain corporate sponsors, or does the AP do it at all?

The AP is probably the single more reliable news source. Because they are basically a collective - every paper that pays dues to use their stories can edit the stories, add to them or make requests - they have become the most most well-refined wire service. The AP has no corporate sponsors.

As far as filtering stories, if they don't appear on Yahoo!, it's because Yahoo! chose not to post them. The AP runs thousands upon thousands of news stories, photos, graphics, videos and other bits of multimedia a day, and no source runs everything. The AP's member site is updated every few seconds of the day with new stuff, so you can imagine the amount of infomation going through there.

Decode this lyrics " It's up to you"
Why not?
All news are reliable.
As means of communication.
Some were gloomy.
Some cheers us up.
Up to the readers and viewers on what they like.
Me , I like baked beans for breakfast.
That cheer me up.
What do you think?

No, they are not. They pick and choose what they want to publish. It's how they control the info. They are a propaganda machine.

It's as good as any... I use it on Occasion. It's a pretty "clean" site- so I doubt Yahoo messes with it much...
