Ok i asked another similar question and that lead me to another question. Do u think that the bottom quote is true? If you do or dont please explain. Im excited to read the answer to this question from a white persons perspective.

400 years of slavery and Whites there will always be a "invisible or visible divided line between both races", there is just too much history there for it to ever be anything else.

It's alive and well and a 2-way street.

I think the question is who is putting the line there? Now, there are so many interracial couples and biracial children, that the line between races is blurred. There is always going to be racism, we can't help the ignorant all the time.
It's how we all respond to racism that matters. If we keep responding with violence, it doesn't solve anything; it just begets more violence. Like the little kid who does bad to get noticed, we need to ignore it and try to live our own lives the best we can. We can't change other peoples minds.

definitely alive. being white in a 80% black school, I know for a fact that racism is very prevelent, and 90% of the whites who havnt assimilated into black culture hate every one of them, and for good reason. They fight constantly, are rude to the teachers, cause disruption 24-7, are EXTREMELY loud and stupid. And its a two way street. They blame "the white man" for everything bad that happens to them

It is certainly not dead. It is alive and definitley kicking. Have you read some of the posts people have written about Mexicans? Ugly, very, very ugly.

Nothings changed. Racism is just more subtle because of the laws.
