Ahmadinejad says what he says -- including hosting a holocaust-deniers convention -- just to annoy people -- it's a poltical stunt.
In the US -- we do it the other way -- we avoid doing anything that could possibly provoke a reaction -- until we're ready to invade.

I will go with the US committing genocide on Mative Americans. I do not approve of things in Iraq. But, it is not genocide. Iran commits political and other executions of "undesireabl;es. But still not genocide. Genocide is the extermination of an entire race or ethnic group from a nation's own country. The Holocost defititely fits. As to Armenian genocide in Turkey in WWI, that was nearly 100 years ago and while still the Ottoman Empire. They are under new administration. If a condemnation were to be made, the US waited far too long to do it. Saddam was compared to Hitler on genocide. What a joke! The only comparable people in recent history to Hitler were Stalin and Mao Tze Tung. Both besting Hitler's mass murders.
I had many Irani friends. Ahmadinejad and the radical Islamists are not representative of the people of Iran. I know many speak out against him, though carefully.

Because their hypocrites, they sold a story to America that recognizing the Armenian Genocide is a waste of time without giving some real info or facts on the situation.
No news media interviewed anyone from the armenian community, genocide survivors, armenian celeb, etc
No information was given to the public about what happened during the genocide, the 95 years of denial by Turkey, re-writing of history books, and the killling of armenians today.

The fact is that US knows the truth about Armenian Genocide, but can't persuade Turkey to have a logical policy over this and accept the fact and of course the truth is going to be a victim of politics, as it has been for many years before.
I think Bush is another "Ahmadinejad"!!!

He isn't denying the Armenian genocide, he just doesn't want to make a public condemnation of it using congress. There is a difference.
We aren't in Iraq to conquer it and be an imperial nation. We'd have to take over and run their government to be considered imperialistic.

Let's review the true hypocrites in this country. I'm thinking of the part of our society that demands the right of a woman to kill her unborn child, yet pretend to care about casualties of war. Let me roll my eyes waaaay over.

Who the hell are you quoting? We are not doing the things that Ahmadinejad is guilty of. He denies in the face or overwhelming facts that Jews were killed by the Nazis. He wants to burn Israel off the map and complete the final solution. What Congress want to do is the same thing that was done in the 70s piss off a major ally and lose the war on terror. What next they want to pass a resolution condemning Germany for the murder of 6 million Jews? Or do you think that might "upset" the Iranians?

EXCELLENT QUESTION!!!!!!!!
the answers simple, they dont give a **** about Armenians..just as long as the ones at the top are kept happy. The next question is...how do we secure justice for the Armenian people?
Also, I don't think anyone understood your question, cuz they gave some very weird answers..like that one guy that thought you were referring to Iraq as the genocide.

don't forget I also drive a gas guzzling suv and I kill illegals that get lost in my back yard.
If our war was imperial there would be an American govt being set up in Iraq, not an Iraqi one. And they would have to pay taxes and be subject to the draft. I only hope that the next terrorist attack happens to your family in your city and not mine.
