when you were a kid?? Did you ever dump the cereal out to get to the toy at the bottom because you just couldn't wait for it to fall out or you wanted to be sure that you got it?? Do they still put toys in cereal??

Yes! I remember those. I used to stick my hand to the bottom and find it instead of waiting to eat all the cereal. And when it wasn't down there, I got really sad cause I was promised a toy! Felt the same way about Cracker Jack boxes.
I don't think they do that anymore. I guess incase the toy had something in it or on it to make the cereal bad.

Of course! They don't put toys very much in cereal though nowadays, it's a shame. I used to buy the cereal even if it was terrible, just for the cool prize inside ;)

Yes. Back then you got the best toys. Yesterday when I opened my cereal box, I got a spoon from that new bee movie. Does that count as a toy?

I still buy the cereals with toys for my kids.. lol.. When we were kids, there were 5 of us so my mom had to keep track of who's turn it was to get the next toy so it was fair.

yeah just like they took the prizes out of cracker jacks all ya get now is a piece of paper with a joke or something on it. i miss the cereal toys. but with 5 kids growing up we didn't get to take the prizes out cuz we would fight over them so mom just waited until there were 5 and we had to pick a hand to see what one we would get. then we would spend the next hour trading. i think they probably quit doing that so little children who get to pour their own now dont end up swallowing them. ahh good times good times

I would tell my mom to buy that cereal just cuz I wanted the toy in it. haha!
Not sure, I haven't gotten any cereal that has toys in them... even though I still eat cereal like Cap'n Crunch!

OMG I used to dump it all out on the floor and grab the toy and run! LOL I don't think that they still give them out any more... good thing because the cereal people probably lost all their adds to the cleaner store LOL! 0=)

Yesss.I do I would fight with my brother over who would get the toy.......I remember reaching way down to the bottom to get the toy and my arm would get stuck LOL..
I don't see toys in the boxes anymore now they make you send away for them and you have to have so many box tops..
Do you remember Cracker Jack toys they did away with them because they say kids might swallow them..I don't remember any of my friends choking on a toy from a Cracker Jack box..

They hardly ever put toys in cereal anymore. It was always fun getting them out of the box when you just opened it and its burried in cereal!
