While there were rumors that he may have survived the end of World War II, Adolf Hitler's actual and accepted cause of his death is suicide by gunshot and cyanide poisoning. On April 22, 1945, Hitler expressed his intent to kill himself, so he asked physician Werner Haase to recommend a reliable method of suicide; Haase suggested combining a dose of cyanide with a gunshot to the head. After midnight on April 29, Hitler married his mistress Eva Braun and dictated his last will testament. By April 30, with the Soviets advancing into Berlin, Adolf and Eva Hitler- along with the Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels and his wife and six children- had all committed suicide together in a bunker.
As for your question of the whereabouts of Hitler's remains, the Red Army troops had discovered the remains of the fuhrer and his wife plus his two dogs in a shell crater on May 2. Their remains were frequently buried and exhumed by the Soviet's 79th Rifle Corps during the unit's relocation from Berlin to a new facility in Magdelburg where they (along with those of the Goebbels family) were permanently buried in an unmarked grave. By 1970, for the fear of any possibilty of the Hitler burial site becoming a Neo-Nazi shrine, KGB director Yuri Andropov ordered the remains to be destroyed. A Soviet KGB team secretly exhumed the bodies and burned them before dumping the ashes in the Elbe river.

There was recently a article (dont ask me where) that i saw that said that a Russian Colonel from their KGB, said that they had the skull of Hitler, but under orders from the Kremlin they had kept it a secret. I think this was revealed on a death bed but i might be wrong.
and yes he did commit suicide (unless history's little rumors are true). many people think Hitler left Berlin and a twin committed suicide while he escaped to South America.

According to everyone who was in the bunker with Hitler, he committed suicide with his wife Eva Braun. They both took poison, he shot her, and then himself. His officers took his body and burned it as well as they could so that no one else could get it.
But there's no proof either way. The Soviets were already marching on Berlin when he killed himself, and they were the first to reach his bunker. If they found his body, then they haven't ever declassified that. Maybe his staff lied, and somehow he managed to sneak out of Berlin and survive, but in my opinion, it doesn't matter. By now, he's dead either way, and thankfully, the war ended his ridiculous plans to kill off half of the world and enslave the rest!
The bunker itself was paved over, and if you go to Berlin nowadays, there is just a parking lot built over it. As for info on what the Soviets found when they got there... good luck searching for it somewhere in the Kremlin.

Yes, along with Eva Braun.
70 liters of gasoline were obtained by the SS in spite of sever fuel shortages to burn their bodies in the courtyard of the bunker. Presumably enough to destroy the remains.

The Russians have his remains. His secretary gave a report of his suicide. He wrote a will and signed it. He was a coward.

No one knows, thats what the Government and the media told everyone but who's to say that is even the truth cause we all know that the government and media twist **** around to their liking to fool us all. Just like they told us JFK was assasinated, which he was but for a total different reason than what they told us.
