So i know that object #1 hits a wall at 42.16 m/s. Now, what other information do I need to know to find out the frequency of object #1 due to the vibrations of the collision with the wall?

And with that information, how do I find the frequency?

You haven't given enough information for the question to make sense.

You need to know the distance from the object to the wall.
Then frequency can be calculated by speed/distance.

Hope you get it!!! :D
