Actually monitor how mush time you are spending and discuss what would be a reasonable amount of time that would be satisfactory to you both. There are plenty of programs and councilors out there that can help if your hooked. If you choose not to take this advise you may have a very lonely existence in cyberland. Take it from me been there, done that and got the t-shirt that said almost divorced.

My boyfriend/fiance of 10 years spends all day every day at the computer when he is home. His job keeps him away from home 15-17 days at a time. Yes, it causes problems.

Not boyfriend/girlfriend, but yes as in friendships and the relationships I have with my family. It's caused a lot of grief for everyone.

yes, because pc gaming is addictive and very hard to put down. I almost lost a relationship over it. So, I wait til she's at work or asleep now and then have at it. I try to spend more time with her and then it's my turn.

No but it has with my parents. My step dad will sit at the computer almost ALLLLLLLLL day playing poker. What kind of sorry life is that?? How can you look at a computer screen that long without your eyes hurting or getting a headache?

internet can also help resolve problems..look at this yahoo answers...alot of people are getting good answers from total stranger..... it is not the internet that cause the problem... it is your own obsession with the certain relationship....
